Holy, Holy, Holy!

Commissioned by James Hala and the Westminster Brass, this arrangement of the hymn “Holy, Holy, Holy!” is cast in a single movement. The rather somber introduction (which recalls Mahler’s Second Symphony) transitions to a much more rhythmic and exuberant texture. The calm and lyrical inner verse acts as an interlude between the more active outer sections.
